You can have the best cooling in the world, but if you get a bad stepping, you're stuffed basically. Have you tried overclocking it with your current cooler? That will give you a rough idea of what to expect.

Having said that, running cooler is better in all circumstances.
 
the deltas arent that bad now. i'm used to it. have 2 of the 120mm 190cfm on 2 xp-120s

keeps my 3800+ X2 @ 2.8 ghz now running now at mid-high 30's C - under full load constantly. and my 4400+ X2 @ stock running again @ 100% full load - 27 C at the mo

loud, but you get used to it - or go a little bit deaf :D

yep, have my 7800 in the 1st slot (couldnt be bothered changing the jumpers), the other slot is free tho (no SLI for me) :)

blows that air all over the mobo too so helps cool my ram

haha chopping fingers, reminds me of the time i stuck my finger in my dual storm whilst put the side back on my case, ouch and boy didnt my pc vibrate like mad
