You have a CRT then, its not a graphic card option, its in the menu in the buttons in your monitor.

hate to break it to you, but not all TFTs are widescreen. my TFT here is 1600x1200

It's the icon with 2 pararelle lines topc and bottom and curve at the side, just press + and - to adjust it to suit, you CAN'T muck it up, can always press the other direction to go back.

But I'm trying that one and it just curves the sides in or out, doesn't make it any bigger.

Doesn't the OSD menu have a 'reset' option? That might set it back to how it was before. If it doesn't, at least you can press it if you screw up.

What do you mean by bigger?

You mean the picture doesn't fill the screen with blacks on the side or the actual resolution is too low?

they are 2 seperate problems there.
