What's the most expensive item you have bought?

I was just wondering what item people own that they have spent the most amount of money on.

There is a catch to this though, the item you have in mind cant be either a house or a car - as they are too obvious.

The most expensive thing I have ever bought is my macbook which I payed £949 for.

So what's the most expensive item you have ever bought?
