What's the most expensive item you have bought?

Where does the line get drawn wtt our houses? For example kitchens are very frequently £5000+ and i have bought 2 of those.

If nothing fixed within the house then i guess my master bed, with bedding i would guess it came to £1500 or so?
 
£1700ish on a custom guitar i had built in 2005.

also have/had a car, mortgage, sofa, TV all more then that but there everyday essentials so i wouldnt class them as a luxury purchase such as my guitar.

£1k payment every month to the ex. I'm paying for my Solicitors Christmas, Holiday and his childrens school fees!! I have the slight hope that when my daughter is 19 then i'll be able to sell the house i'm paying for but not living in....

I think that by the time i add everything up, legal fees, proposed settlement i'll be looking at over £140k..........but i will get to keep my pension:eek:
 
my wife.. technicly i didnt buy her but she cost me a fortune in the first 2years but now she earns more than me so all is good

propper items probably £4500 on car ice in one go
 
Most expensive item I've bought myself: Computer £950(ish) (car insurance doesn't count as I pay it monthly)

Most expensive item I've bought someone else: iPod Touch £220
 
Full spec Apple Mac Pro, that alone was £2700 and have since bought extra's that take it well over 3k. I'd say £3500k spent in total for what I have now.

Madness.
