What's the most expensive item you have bought?

Ok, you can't have "car", but what about "engine replacement for car" (yes, just the engine, no fitting, no services, just one product) at £1100~

Deposit on my rented student house, £300.

My pc if i add up all the components but that doesn't really count as i bought most them separately.

Hmmm. i've never spent a huge amount of money on any one thing that hasnt been a car. Given that, i'd say... festival tickets for my girlfriend and i, ~£350. Or perhaps dinner at a nice restaurant ~£350.

I think that's about it tbh. I dont own anything that's worth that much.
 
That I paid for personally my Mountain bike £400ish, that the insurance paid for my laptop £500
