What's the oldest hardware you have that you are still using?

My main rig is coming up to 7 years old. HDD has been replaced and an SSD added, plus the gfx card went pop, but the base machine has been chugging on. I've been looking at a replacement, but it still handles everything I play @1920x1200 - though generally not at Ultra settings any more.

Antec P180 case
Q6600 G0
Tuniq Tower 120 cooler
4GB Crucial Ballistix Memory
ABit IP35 Pro

I think the only thing I use that might be older is my Saitek Eclipse Keyboard. The W key has taken a battering, but it keeps on trucking.

A dual-platter 160GB Samsung Spinpoint P80 from 2003/4. Been used pretty much ever since and still works fine, hope I didn't just jinx it!

Edit: Just searched about others' longest lasting drives....now I don't feel so special :(

Actually, I just remembered that my UltraSharp 2407FPW's are about 7 years old (going from release date) so I suppose they are the oldest things in reality.

Still better than the 1 year old BenQ they replaced. :p

Its boxed up at my mum and dad's, though he did inform me it still boots up and works fine, but I have my very first home PC there - 486 dx2 or something like? Surely unless someone still has a working Amiga 500 / Sinclair thats gotta be in with a shout?

Monstered Solitaire at full graphics thanks to its monster spec I believe.

I have my Sony laptop that I got for a steal at almost 60% off the day before win7 came out running vista pro - not sure how old that is

Everything in my system is new this year but my X-Fi Elite Pro from 2005 is the oldest hardware still in use.

Reason I still use it is im a singer and use it to record my tracks onto the PC. Still haven't found another card that can do the job like the X-Fi can. Tried an SB-Z and it no control over the mic and stuff like the audio creation mode on the x-fi

Oldest thing I am currently using is well.. my current PC! i7 950, x58a-ud3r rv2, haf 922, corsair tx650.

Buuttttt I'm building my new PC today so wont have to "suffer" for long!

At home, sidewinder x6 and some creative speakers that I barely use (headphone user here!)

Some of the work stuff is ancient though.

A lot of love for the 8800s and Q6600s in here still, I remember those days!

My shuttle PC that I put together in around 2004 which has had a few hand me down upgrades over the years.

Athlon XP 2500+
2GB Ram
1 X 80GB Boot Drive
1 X 280GB Data drive

I look after all my stuff though and it still works really well. I recently did an ebay upgrade on it and replaced the Nvidia FX5200 AGP card with an ATI HD3850 512MB card and a new PCI Wireless N card as my old wireless G card didn't support WPA2 :)

I use it for playing old games mainly, I installed all my old CD / DVD games and got no-cd patches for all of them, I was playing battlefield 1942 and desert combat the other day, still great games. I also use it to restore images to other disks as the sata ports are nice and accessible. Great machine.

At the moment it'll be my Samsung SyncMaster 2032BW monitor - I'm unsure how old it is but I've had it for quite a while now.

Up until a few months ago I was using an ATI 4670.

Either my Logitech Z5400 Speakers or the Creative Labs XFi Fatal1ty PCI sound card. Both are at least 7 years old now, probably nearer 9.

I still use an old AT power supply from 1985! its sod all use for most things but great for spinning up a molex connector and has enough umpf to get some dying PATA and SATA HDD's to spin when they just don want to any more.

its also good for keeping the door open!

I have a socket 939 Athlon running Windows 2000 Advanced Server as a back-up web dev server. It's got 768MB of DDR1 in it :D

I also keep my long-term baby in tip-top shape - Socket 478 Pentium 4 3.2GHz Prescott on a Gigabyte 8KNXP with 3GB DDR400 CAS2 in dual channel (didn't know until about a year ago that 2x1GB and 2x512GB would work :-P ) and a GeForce 6800 Ultra I got purely to play Doom 3.

She's getting a refurb soon - modding up some underboard lighting, custom mobo armour and even cooling with a H105 if I can get a custom mount that'll fit socket 478 made up (that Prescott pumps out so much heat!!).

Although I don't need her, I even cobbled together and booted up a Pentium III EB clocked at 1.3GHz with a CRAZY 1.5GB of SDRAM. Windows 98 SE has never been so slick - retro DOS gaming machine I reckon (because Doom from the Steam Winter Sale looks pants at 1440p)

I do love my girls lol

Oh, and a Ruby G3 iMac running OSX Panther.
