Suprised there is no Sol campbell thread here ;) But it seems this might be the reason why he has been acting strange. Very odd to let it effect him so much but I must say it is better reading this than the other stuff I had been reading earlier. Lets just say I wasn't expecting this love thing to involve women :o

Lets try to keep this thread clear of the usual rubbish I would expect and discuss what facts have come out and not rumours started by Spurs fans who seem to have contacts......

Cant believe the money hes on and he cant handle a few women, must have a mental problem, maybe he should retire?
 
I'm amzaed that that is all that the problem is, was expecting something major especially considering what hes been through before. Hope he sorts his head out though.

Up to him to come out and silence the media then. He earns more in a day than some people do in a year, media scrutiny comes with the territory.
 
I'm not surprised the other thread was deleted, some of the stuff that was posted was treading very dodgy ground seeing as there had been no official word on what was up with him.

I'd suggest people avoid posting about such speculation in here.
 
Not sure if I should say this so if I am out of order apologies to the Don's in advance. According to posters on the englandfans website the News of the World are printing revelations tomorrow about Sol which are supposed to be "the biggest shock in years". There is speculation as to what those stories are but there is no way I am repeating them on here. I didn't see the original thread so not sure if it has already been mentioned.

He deserves all the stick he's gonna get from the terraces if he dares to take the field again.

Ahem *cough* I have just had a conversation with a guy who is well connected in football world and I would love to post exactly what he told me. But judging by previous posts I'm not sure if it would be wise. His source is a name who almost everyone would recognise. But needless to say I have a very good idea what the NOTW is running with on Sunday :eek:
 
I haven't read any stories to suggest the reason's or suggestions behind Sol's diappearance etc but if the story to be revealed tomorrow by the NOTW as shocking then I have one suggestion on my mind and it could lead to or most likely will, be the end of his career.

I hope it not a big story and he comes back as good as ever for Arsenal really need him.

EDIT: Just read the SUN and its over 3 women. Nothing serious then. :)

His kind of wage can buy you a lot of PR. Rumours of what some of the papers are going to print surface and suddenly there's stories of him being with multiple women (and i use the word in the broadest possible sense after seeing those pics!) not really shocking stuff.
 
It's funny how ever rumour I hear about Sol since yesterday always seems to include the magical words "this sunday's News Of The World". From what I've read they're breaking 10 different stories about him in the same issue, should be quite an achievement!

Or maybe, just maybe, they don't have a clue what they're talking about, and they're spreading stupid rumours in order to drum up sales. I wonder. :)
