and it has crap spec to boot: crap nav and no climate
well then it's just manual air conditioning. climate control doesn't have to be dual-zone, but it automatically adjusts the temperature in the cabin to the one you select.AFAIK all e60s have climate control, it's just not the advanced dual-zone climate control
Regardless of the fact that its the "wrong" spec, its still a very nice car for the money. I'd not discount it if that is what you are after and the spec is not an issue to you.
When you say Google maps, does this mean it had 3G/2G/GPRS connectivity?
Yes the car has a Telematics cotrol unit fitted which has a sim built in for 3G connection to the Internet.
but it automatically adjusts the temperature in the cabin to the one you select.
you can't do this with normal ventilation and an A/C button
IIRC iDrive was updated after 2007(?) which was easier to use, wider screen, had more features and included Google Maps as well as USB connectivity + HDD?
Professional Nav is just the name given to the whole setup is it not?
Its awesome!
