Whats you monthly internet usage?

I ask this because only recently It has only recently been brought to my attention just how much I download, In Septmeber for example I have sent and received over 230gb.

Now my Internet Provider (Karoo) are moving to new packages the highest been a 75Gb a month cap, simply not enough for me!

Is it quite a lot compared to everyone else?

no. very little.

with 20MB internet and newsgroups you never fully stop downloading :D

can usually eat through around 250/300GB of newsgroups a month. then add the general internet usage and gaming.

so mine ends up at about 450/500GB a month :)

:confused::eek: thats half of my hard disk space lol
 
80-100GB a month with 3 users usually, unless I start downloading whole tv series'.

Usually ~20GB at the moment, suits me as the new package i am moving onto is going to be capped at around this.
 
I've been moved onto a a cap of 15GB a month (£2/GB over!) since a few months ago, and have been sticking to it basically, although it has been quite hard.
 
There will be 2 types of replies in this thread, one set who use the internet normally, while downloading the odd movie here and there to bump it up to ~15-20GB.

Then there will be the weirdo's who (at least claim) to download 300GB or other stupid amounts. Quite what they download to meet this total is incomprehensible.
 
40Gb Last month, and that included a lot of updates, iplayer and a hell of a lot of streaming of TV stations from Texas covering Hurricane Ike
 
Yep, i'd expect bbc iplayer to bump up usages quite a bit. Whats the streaming bitrate on high quality in iplayer?

edit: It says a minimum connection of 1Mbps required. If it is that, then 1 hour is 450 megs.
