Outrun, yes it's 20 years old this year but hey, I love it, keep looking for an original arcade machine, never seem to be in luck, or find ones covered in fag burns.
More recently, and perhaps predictably, it has to be GTA: San Andreas, I bought a PS2 just to have that game, sad I know...
Can't decide Goldeneye was the first game that made me forgot it was still a game.
Put more time into Transport Tycoon than anything else.
RE2 was probably the best gameing experiance i remember shame it only lasted about 8 hours (doing the two paths once, suppose i could do it again the other way around)
Every one on the C64, each one from when I was at school playing them during the school holidays. Late nights, parents at work, friends round, chatting up the girls on Prestel, happy happy days.

If they do (please please please prays) bring it out for the ps3 then i am going to have to reluctantly sell my 360 to fund it as i couldn't justify both.
Oh and Mafia was also a great game as well, really good storyline as mentioned eariler.
The original counter strike for me, set up a network at my school for 12 of us to play, those were good days, my mum wondered y i wanted to stay behind at school every night for about 2 years, she thought i just liked learning
