What's your favourite beer?

Badger - golden champion
Wickwar -bob
Bath - gem
Newcastle brown

Many many others but golden champion. Can't. Be beat in the summer served chilled.

Wylam Gold Tankard
Mordue Workie Ticket
Black Sheep
Bombardier
Deuchars IPA

These are all beers that I drink on a regular basis based on the pubs I go to. Plenty of others I enjoy and I'll tend to try out any guest ales

Favourite local beer is Mcmullens Hertford Castle, favourite lagers are mostly Czech/eastern European ones I think like: Budvar, Tyskie, Zywiec,

But I like all types of lager and will usually just get whatever box is on offer.

Some of you people need to visit Belgium, clearly.

Chimay Bleu Grandé Reserve. I had a 2007 bottle last night, got me nicely buzzed and tasted like I was drinking the waters of heaven.

Apart from Chimay, Orval, Duvel, Affligem Bruin\Blonde... Whenever I come back from Brussels I have to drink shorts for the first few then I can finally manage to stomach a pint. ;)

Too many to choose from! So instead I'll go for what I have in the house:

Atlas - Latitude
Atlas - Nimbus
Badger - Blandford Fly
TSA - Glencoe Wild Oat Stout

.....what to have first, choices, choices!

I'm a massive fan of Belgium beers, I've got my dissertation hand in at midnight and I think you've just made me decide I'll be taking a stroll to Asda and picking up a few bottles along with whatever other good looking ales I find once it's done.

After visiting Germany most commercial U.K beers pale in comparison to the regional stuff (Rothaus) we had over there. It was much lighter and sweeter even though it had a higher amount of alcohol with no synthetic or chemical taste.

In the UK it'd have to be Punk X from the Brewdog Bar. It's a lot heavier and more complex than the above but I guess that's part of the appeal.
