Whats your favourite Movie Soundtrack?

so are we picking soundtracks because the include a catchy song or one of our favs , or are we choosing them because they compliment the film so good and it wudnt be the same without it ?

I picked my films because the soundtracks both compliment the film and have amazing songs but I think that it can also be a case of either/or. :)

That film, the soundtrack and the subject matter is just pure class. I've never wanted to time travel as much as I did after seeing that film, if anything just to paddle a freshman and go on a beer bust :D Also nice to see a couple of those songs on the Guitar Hero 3 soundtrack too.

Mine would be Layer Cake, I really couldn't see myself buying a Kylie CD or even listening to XTC but it all works really well and listening to it brings back memories of the excellent film.

Special mentions for the Plunkett and Macleane soundtrack, Craig Armstrong is a legend.

Lots of Zimmer's and Morricone's work appeal.

I'll mention one soundtrack that I love and have not seen listed here, and that's for the Thin Red Line. Great movie too btw.
