What’s your favourite Sunday newspaper?

What’s the point in starting discussion threads on here when no one wants to be serious and just reply as though they’re some kind of comic genius.

Please stay out of the thread if you’re not interested in the topic
My apologies, my comment should have been expanded. If it's news worthy or the world is coming to an end I'll check here. In my experience there should be a post on here about it!
Due to the nature of my mental health I can't watch the news or read paper so this fourm fills that void. I can pick and choose what I want to read without getting triggered.
My last paper purchase would have been the Sun at least 30 years ago, as a young lad I liked the page 3 boobies.

I bet everyone’s parents had a daily newspaper. My dad was a Sun reader and I used to read his copy. 10 years old and sitting there with page 3 open in all its glory and he never said a word, couldn’t give a toss lol

We had the Daily Mail delivered in the week when I was growing up and the telegraph at the weekend, dad quite often came back with The Sun also.

I had a paper round when I was young and used to read all the football news on the back pages then realise I had walked past the last half a dozen houses awaiting their paper lol. Obviously had to check out the boobs too.

I've not bought a paper for years now but I did like getting The Times on Sunday for the football section.

Must admit, the sports pages and football pullouts are one of the best bits. Used to love reading all the match reports on Sundays and Monday

Our household only buys a paper on a Saturday now, Daily Mail and Sun papers, yeah a lot crap in them but we like something to read on a Saturday morning and we like to get them for the TV guide for the week ahead.
All this stuff can of course be done online but it’s nice to not to use digital media for everything sometimes.

I struggle to avoid the news, I don't need to seek it out.

I last bought a paper 20+ years ago: I used to get the financial times while doing a-level economics.

Agree and find the fact reading yesterdays bent news as rather odd, but the fil has the Times, which has some interesting parts, as long as you skip the snewz/.

I can honestly say, I’ve never bought myself a newspaper.

My mum use to get the ones on a Sunday and I’d walk around to the shop to pick them up. Get a chocolate bar! Stopped getting them when I was still in High School. Outdated media that’s no longer required.

They might be outdated but they are still a traditional thing that many enjoy. Now we’ve got streaming and Kindles, who needs blu-rays and books, but they’re still sold in their millions

I was trying to recall, but don't think I've ever bought a national newspaper for myself in my entire life, unless it was for a coupon or something similar, read plenty and we used to have a copy of every daily paper at one of the places I worked. Have far better things to spend money on than someone's opinion, can find plenty of those for free these days.
