Whats Your IQ?

I left the computer with the webpage up and came back to finish it, IQ of 128. Dont know how much they weight the time elapsed to be honest. Some questions rather ambiguous too. Thats why I hate IQ testing. It actually stresses me out and really isnt worth it.

As I understand it the test should result in 50% of the population being in the region 75-125, then 25% in the regions 50-75 and 125-150 and so on.

My friend studied psychology and explained it to me. But it was in the pub, so I may have that completely wrong. :o

(The following numbers apply to IQ scales standard deviation σ = 15.) Roughly 68% of the population has an IQ between 85 and 115. The "normal" range, or range between −2 and +2 standard deviations from the mean, is between 70 and 130, and contains about 95% of the population. An accurate score below 70 may indicate mental retardation, and a score above 130 may indicate intellectual giftedness. Retardation may result from normal variation or from a genetic or developmental malady; analogously, some otherwise normal people are very short, and others have dwarfism. Giftedness appears to be normal variation; autistic savants have often astonishing cognitive powers but below-average IQ's.

It has been observed that scores outside the range 55 to 145 must be cautiously interpreted because there are smaller numbers of respondents with which to make comparisons in those ranges. Moreover, at such extreme values, the normal distribution is a less accurate estimate of the true IQ distribution.

If you score over 150 you're in the top 0.04% of the population. :eek:

Scored 115 simply by ticking true for every answer.

"A person whose IQ score falls in the range of 111-128 is considered to be "above average intelligence" - rather unlike this test

But in controlled scientific test when i was 9 i actually got 250, the man said i could afford to cut half of my brain out and give it to a monkey and still be considered to be a genoius.....jeanious.......geanyus.........

A very clever person.

Didn't do that test, all the online ones I have done haven't exactly been very scientific :p I have done full Mensa tests twice, one of them in an exam hall with invigilators (how one would cheat at an IQ test I'm not entirely sure!). Results were 146 & 152.
