Around town I get between 26 and 29mpg. On a motorway run at 75 I get (after a while) 41mpg. Best I've seen is 43mpg. That's in a E350 CDI Coupe.

Currently on a company hire car, the new Ford Focus 1.6 diesel Ecotech...reading 58.6mpg average right now.

Mainly motorway mileage but needless to say I am impressed.

DAB radio with Planetrock helps you forget about the lack of power :D

I'll be updating this tomorrow, expecting another +60 from mine too..
Book figures are lower than I'm actually getting..

Well assuming it makes it to work tomorrow that is (pay day) but the fuel light has been flickering since Monday and on Solid since Wednesday. :o

That's poor. I get 60MPG from my 115bhp 1.8TDCi Focus.

Only picked up the car 2 days ago so not really had a chance to test it properly. Did a 14 mile run to Hospital on the A30 last night at 2am as my son was unwell so I wasn't really driving ecofriendly:p

Edit

It's a lot better on fuel than my Golf GTI 2.0 16v :-P Struggled to get anymore than 32mpg driving at 70 mph on a trip to Bristol last year.

That's pretty incredible! Wouldn't be able to stomach all those miles in a 106 myself, but good effort.

Haven't had much choice in going slow this month, they are repairing bridges on the M5 at the moment for pretty much the whole section I use, so it's been a steady 50 mph drive to work.

It's got heaters, a radio, a soft seat and with the tyres pumped up at 38 psi, the steering is nice and light. (no P/S)
The lack of creature comforts is more than made up for by the fact I never have to wash it, hoover it, lock it, care about it getting scratched, dented or abused and can get in it with filthy clothes and not worry about the state of the interior.
Best of all, When it goes wrong it's pence to fix. :D

Roadtrip. :)

Quite a handy app actually. :)

and scary! sometimes it's ignorance is bliss mode when it comes to fuel costs!!!

just checked my trip computer, says 25mpg, which is interesting, because I believe it to be a lot worse than that. Granted if I had said app, and used it, I'd know for sure. But I'll take the 25 and run lol!
