What's your usage bills!

We pay by quater, our Leccy is about £50pcm and Gas about £55pcm, Water about the same. 3 Bed Semi, 2 Shift Working Adults with 2 Rigs running most days.

£85 combined. Won't be anywhere near that this month, but build up in summer and over spend in winter.
DD, not only discount and no annoying mail, but also evens out over the year, no silly high bills over the winter.

Gas and electric £170 combined, those paying under £80 combined I cant see how it is possible?

I live in a new build which is insulated to the max, 5mins of the heating on and my house is roasting. Even without heating on and temperature outside of about 9 degrees I've normally got the windows open in the bedroom to get a comfortable heating temperature.

£70 a month for both Gas and Electric. Should get that down by about £150 a year when I switch at the end of the month.

Anyone who is paying over £100 or so combined and isn't paying off a debt needs to get themselves over to a comparison site pronto!

our leccy is around £320 per quarter
gas about £80 per quarter in the summer and £280 ish in the winter
water is capped at about £360 ish per year

my leccy bills were over £420 per quarter at one point so sold the 50 inch plasma which used half a kilowatt and replaced with a 42 inch LCD which user circa 80 watts ( instant £100 per quarter saving)

really not everyone is single or has little electrical items etc etc

£100 combined i use that in a month on electric, washing machine about twice per day, tumble dryer twice per day in the winter. It soon adds up especially when you have 6 children in the house.

Fair enough. My usage is for a 3-bed semi with 2 adults and one child.

A better way to compare is actual kWh figures... That's the only real way to know if the bill is high due to usage or due to the energy company ripping you off.

i use a lot less than i did, my projected bill this year is about 1400 Kwh's per quarter last years wheh i had the plasma TV they were reaching anything upto 2500Kwh's

i plead with anyone who owns a large plasma tv to get rid of it and get a LED or LCD the saving in electric will cover the TV cost in 1-2 years ( thats if you use it quite often, kids and the like. If your single and working or only use it for a couple of hours a day then i wouldn't worry too much)

On the Basis that I'm paying £95~ per week for rent, with all bills included, and the going rate for a shared flat with EnSuite in Naaarich is about £75 I'd say I'm paying approximately £80/month for:
Sky
Broadband (50GB usage limit)
Water
Electric
Gas

Guess that works out to £320 a month for all 4 of us:
4 Bedroom House, double glazed, en suites.

Probably slightly overpriced, but personally I love the fact that I don't have to worry about usage and affecting the Bill...

We were put onto a metre a while back for not paying our bill. We didnt bother topping up the metre for ages than added £120

British gas metre readings on;

31/08/11 - £101.98
14/09/11 - £91.77

In 2 weeks - £10.21

10.21 * 26 = £265.46 a year

This is using gas just for showers and hot water for cleaning, 3 bed ground floor flat.

Bargain tastic, I recommend a metre!

(Landlords way water and electric)

Random question, but what rates are people on for electric?

With Scottish And Southern Electric (SSE) my day rate was 0.1338p per unit, I got moved to Spark Energy with my new one and the rate is beetween 0.28p (!!!) and 0.19p.
