What's your usage bills!

£36 per month for leccy DD
£25 per month for gas DD ( same supplier)
water is around £10 a month if memory serves

3 bed terraced house, 3 adults :D

I don't think I've had a water bill since moving in to our present house in 2009.

How do I find out who the water provider is? Gonna have a big bill coming, Doh!

All electric two bed flat with two people.

£30 electricity and £160 service charge which includes a number of things as well as the water.

My gas is about £45 per month.
My elec is about £80 per month.
Water don't know.
3 bed terraced with 4 TVs, consoles, PCs, electric shower, tumble dryer, hair dryers and kettles in use often. We use a lot of elec.

We've recently switched to Npower's sign online tariff. Electric is £20pm and gas is £15, that is after giving them exact readings from Nov 2011 to Jan 2012.

Gas & Electric averages about £100/month, its a little higher at the moment as we've got the heating on. Electric is more than it should be as I have my large NAS running 24/7 along with my HyperV server, switches, firewall, wireless etc.

Heating is on 24/7, but we have a digital thermostat that is on at 18c in the morning, and then in the evening and at 16c at the rest of the day plus 18c all day at weekends, and 16c at night.

I've recently topped up the loft insulation to over 300mm, completely flushed the central heating and fitted foil behind all the radiators and the house stays plenty warm. Got EON putting cavity wall insultation in for £99 quid soon so that should help a bit too.

It's a 3 bed semi, and 1 bedroom is not in use so that's got the radiator set on about 10c just in case, and my office (with the servers in as well as my main gaming PC) has the radiator turned off. We've got 2 clothes horses in there and clothes out of the machine dry in a few hours - win win :D

We were paying £72 per month for Gas and Electric, but the absolute ******** E-On wrote to us saying that when our contract renews, we'll be going up to £120 per month.

We looked into it and there is NO WAY that this price is necessary, but they're having none of it. They did the same to my mum, wanted to put the price up from £55 to £140 per month just for gas! She went to N-Power who charge her £98 per month for both.

So we're going :) bye E-On!

Water is £18 per month. We started off at £25 but got so far in credit that Yorkshire Water put our DD down to £9 per month for 8 months. Now we're going up but still don't think £18 is bad.

Sorry for the thread hijack - I've lived in my flat for six months now and still not had an electricity bill from NPower. Any thoughts on why that could be?

New data in from edf
Elec

Gas

3 bed house, barely any insulation. 3 TVS, two virgin boxes, 3 computers. 300watts of grow lights on 13hours a day.

Water still fixed rate at £45.xx a month.

Ring them TOMORROW.

Mine is £60 a month for leccy and gas. Haven't had the first water bill yet but it's due any time now. It won't cost anything as I came out of my old place massively in credit.

Just checked ours for the last 8 days...

67 units of gas = £30
161 units of electricity = £20

5 bedroom student house, but only 3-4 been here for the last 8 days. I get the impression this is a lot?

not that bad thats about £40 per person per month, which is a bit pricey but we pay 30 each a month in a house of 3
