What's your worst crash

Well no, it's not really that simple, is it?

An error of judgement doesn't make you a bad driver, otherwise Sebastein Loeb would be an awful driver.
Well a lot of driving is judgement and if your judgement is impaired or bad then yes you are in some ways a bad driver.

From looking at the way he is around the forums, yes he is a complete plank behind the wheel aswell as keyboard.

As for the comments that if you've crashed you obviously are a crap driver is complete bull. I learnt from my mistake, and I'm glad that mine was an own fault, nobody else involved one, really showed me not to drive like an idiot.

A lot of accidents are due to the idiot drivers that don't get hurt, they do something, so others have to take evasive manouvers, often ending up in some for of accident.

Never had a crash, tbh I would rather take my time then zoom about on country roads, IF i went round a bend at 70 maybe I would crash but I ain't that stupid.

Come close to having a few bumps all down to lack of concentration.

Some nasty crashes on here :( Think I will stay in and clean the car today, just in case :D

You don't wanna crash that gay car of yours now do you :p

I think you are right about the code (I spent 1995 -1998 being a White Van Man) but whatever reason he flashed me it caused the series of events.

The A65 goes round a sharp corner not long after I overtook and from what I can remember he was asleep. That's why he took little injury as he was relaxed at the point of impact. Nobody to this date has been able to explain how I got from the car into the field (I.e the seat belt didn't fail) the two options I think are. I hit the release button whilst flailing about or I got out of the car semi conscious and then collapsed in the field.

Sooo freaky all these years later having a big two day gap in my life. Driving - BLANK - Hospital.

I almost killed myself on my old GT Zaskar Pro many many times, literally two days after I passed my driving it got nicked :(

Since I wanted to spend money on a car I never replaced it with anything nice! Have scratched the car a couple of times by reversing into a fence, driving through a hedge (oops) and most recently going into the back of a Mondeo at low speed but in general I think I am lot better off behind the wheel!

Yeah but were not really talking about driving around a race track or something.

You could argue that if you follow the rules of the road and dont break any speed limits and pay due care and attention to your driving, you wont have any accidents which are your own fault.

There isnt much you can do about other random eejots driving into you but it could definitely be argued that if you have an accident on the road that is your fault, it does make you a bad driver :P

Reguardless of skill, if you cause an accident then its bad :|

I know it's inappropriate, but I burst out laughing and couldnt stop for 5 minutes when I seen that :D HAHAHAHA

My worst crash involved me driving along a dual carraigeway on my motorbike and a stupid drunk bint driving into my path and stopping. I hit the side of the Fiesta at about 50mph and landed quite a bit further up the road.
Lucky to be alive :D

There is not a single person on the road who has never made an error of judgement or a mistake when driving. 99.9% of the time, nothing comes of these mistakes, bar perhaps a toot from an angry driver.

Having a mishap does not make you an inherently bad drivers and its not true that it only happens to bad drivers. What makes you a bad driver is inability to learn from mistakes, or even acknowledge that you make them.

I have scars on my left arm and marks on my legs from coming off the GT Avalanche. I ride it through town and traffic like I have a death wish, and when I put my helmet on I only take more risks!!! :D

I now drive like an old fart though. My life is ruled by the fuel consumtion readout... :(

Different matter when I am on the GT though! Speed and danger rule!

I clipped the garage door frame going backwards at about 1mph once.

I know, I know, I've just jinxed myself into totalling the Punto on the way up to the post office later today. My DFI Infinity P965-S is DOA. :(

Very true, yesterday I was rooting around my car for the cigarette lighter that my passenger had triggered before it set fire to something, ended up straddling the centre line.

Smoking kills in so many ways....

Bush-parked my saxo when the PAS pump failed. Fortunately citroen admitted the fault was theirs and payed out to repair it :)

As of yet I've not had a "bad" accident.

/touches wood.

Some nasty crashes in here! Especially post 9 (I'd like to know what you're passenger was doing though!)

I've been pretty lucky and have never crashed, I've had a few close calls though such as going to fast on a roundabout in the wet and spinning out, plus taking a very sharp corner at about 60 and nearly losing the back end with a car coming round the corner, luckily I managed to stay on my side of the road :p
