What's your worst crash

at this thread. Now I know why insurance is so expensive 
bizarre coincidence this thread appearing.
i just recieved the salvage back from my crash 5 months ago, still off work still going through recovery process, another couple of operations to go, but i can walk.
1 month in intensive care, concious throughout the whole lot cut free by one of the members of this forum.

I recognise that house style but i can't remember what part of Edinburgh it is in and it is bothering me.
Most of the crashes pictured in here have looked pretty bad, glad people have come out from them alright (for the most part).

Not really a crash, as I didn't hit anything. Bloody close though.
Too fast round a bend + pot hole + panic braking = major fishtail down the road before piroetting once or twice and heading up an embankment backwards. Came to rest side on to the road half up the embankment. Got out and looked at the tyre marks, they litterally went around a lampost, must have missed it by inches.
Should have took some pics of those tyre marks, they were still there for weeks. Scared the crap out of me. So lucky I missed everything, and there was no other traffic..
Worse thing is, I caught the slide, and was just thinking "ooh, oversteer, i r driving god" when it bit and sent me off the other way

It was a heavilly modified triumph spitfire mk3
Oh and if i am a bad driver cause some inconsiderate a****** dumped some diesel on a corner, so be it. I crashed at 35 mph on a road i know well, car went airborne after hitting diesel there was no hope of recovery. and that is confirmed in the police report.
