I preferred 6 cyl 3.0 BMW engines before I realised I couldn't pull away from a 2005 Honda Civic Type-R from 30mph > xxxmph yesterday

Not the engines fault, it's because BMW offer the Moon as standard equipment. It's also the only thing that's standard.

I like big NA engines RWD but for some reason I just love turbo engines, but still with RWD.

Currently own a V6 TT and miss the characteristics of the H22a vtec.

My company car is a 2.0tdi and its one of the most boring engines i've had! How can anyone claim they own a diesel for the engine is beyond me. Probably gonna get shot down here but Id argue my old Prelude had more low-down torque as well

i enjoy hgh reving NA but thats not to say that with an unlimited budget i would not buy a high revving v8 or v10...

the only reason to buy a high rev small na is because you cant afford the v8 or v10 version surely? unless you just like going slowly but creating much noise/

whilst a B18 or K20 might be fun. lets face it, you'r have an Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro and enjoy revving it up to 8700rpm more than a 4 banger surely...?

Personally I have based my 'vote' on my experiences and haven't driven an R8

I think the 458 would be my dream engine though
