Tesla are also loud with cheap seats and not much soundproofing, Not to be compared, unlike like a Golf vs a ID3
Ignore the cars. You said powertrains are same or lighter on EV…
58kwh id3 vs 60kwh Tesla. The 77kwh id3 is 100kg heavier againIt's a different mindset. Tesla are built with weight reduction in mind for efficiency getting more range out of a battery.
A Golf and ID isn't a valid comparison because the ID3 is more similar to Tesla making everything lighter to get more from the battery, and cost savings, to maximise the range from the battery and the cost of the battery. But then they used these savings to put a bigger battery in.
Trying to compare with how ICE vehicles are build makes no sense it's a completely different paradigm.
I think blun has been suckered in by Tesla quoting driverless weights, much like the way they quote 0-60 with rollouts subtracted to make them look that little bit better.
Maybe it would be more useful to post something other than statistics, like why you posted that.58kwh id3 vs 60kwh Tesla. The 77kwh id3 is 100kg heavier again
I posted enough on this topic already. Including a 58kwh id3 weight vs a golfMaybe it would be more useful to post something other than statistics, like why you posted that.
Reminds me of a drag race video of a Model Y vs an I-Pace. The Model Y was declared a winner despite being left off the line by the I-Pace, because after about 10 seconds it eventually overtook the I-Pace. By the time the Model Y caught the I-Pace, both cars were doing well over 100 mph. On research I found out the I-Pace was reaching its software imposed speed limit of 127 mph. The Model Y goes to 136 mph and of course this is why it eventually overtook the I-Pace. Of course this was not mentioned in the video.
You can make stats prove anything to people who can’t do proper research.

While entertaining does it really matter
Yes there was a claim made that VW put a bigger battery in for range. They didntI think his point is the ID.3 is roughly the same weight as a Model 3, despite being smaller.
Nissan looking good to start the V2G/V2H revolution soon(ish).

If this is true then people will really be on to a winner "Nissan aims to offer its bi-directional charger “at a price comparable to a mono-directional charger available today”.
Read the earlier posts !! And don’t make stuff upIt was easier to explain your point than post more numbers.

U have driven lots of EV test cars at work, and for long 500mile trips sometimes. I recall having a model 3 LR and my mum got in it. First comment was it feels cheap. And within a mile it was ‘like being on a horse and cart’. It was fast but felt so wooden. Jumping back in the CUPRA felt like a proper car again. And I didn’t need to empty 20l water out of it
Deuce my 4l v8 DCT 3 series weighs 1640kg. My born 1840kg
His point was simple, if you want to compare ICE and EV platforms with vehicles that are actually comparable in most ways because they're same manufacturer and same segment, the Golf and ID3 are a good comparison.
Unlike the Model 3 vs M3 or Model Y vs XC90 nonsense so far.
How so ? Perfect for the topic. ICE vs ground up EVGolf and ID3 are in no way comparable.
V2G is interesting but I can't but think it's both confusing for the average consumer to get any value from it considering the draw backs. But also perhaps a bit pointless holistically.
