When are you going fully electric?

Are the settings mirrored in the app and car?

As far as I can tell, yeah - I have checked a couple of times.

I thought the charging at preferred times not working was due to a setting at first but I’ve checked and everything is configured as per instructions. Plus, it did used to work and I haven’t changed anything since then. It just stopped working one day

I'm about to buy my first personal EV this weekend. Wonder what card/app do people use for charging at public chargers. I've ordered an Octopus Electroverse card, but are there better/cheaper options?

Cheapest is Tesla for their chargers. Up to 30p a unit less.

Not sure if your VW is anything like my bro's Renault, or my dad's Honda, but we don't use any of the in car controls/scheduling. We both just let the Ohme control it all. For my dad's in particular, as long as the gap between plugging in the car and getting it charging isn't more than 2hrs away, it'll charge dynamically just fine. Any longer and I go into the car app on the phone, refresh the connection (wakes it up), and then when the schedule arrives it charges ok. Seems to be a sleep / wake issue. But we set it to say I need the car by like 1am in the morning and so it starts about 8PM. We can then check the smart meter to see if its pulling the KWh or not. If not, give it a kick. lol.
I don’t have a smart charger otherwise I would - it isn’t worth spending the money on one, otherwise I’d have just kept the 320d and used that cost towards fuel.

So what is the big one for and what is the other one for?

The small button is for if/when you may need to manually operate the EPB.

Examples of when this might be are also given in a later section of the manual.

It will be virtually never but would be a pain in the backside if it was impossible to manually operate it on the odd occasions it might be necessary.

Electroverse is good. They seem to do pricing offers, for eg yesterday it was 40% off on Ionity, osprey etc between 12pm and 2pm.

you have good vodaphone signals - this seems like one of the Stellantis issues on mokka I had (dlockers mentioned too) the cars can't be 'woken' via wifi and need 4g,
for supevisor instructions (I live in a mobile triangle - garage would additionally have metal components)
