Trust me it is, did almost 600 miles to there and back the other weekend, in the same day, the most dramatic thing that happened was me helping a Tesla driver open his frozen charge flap.
Did my first long-ish journey in an EV this week, had to go up north (for all my sins), 150 miles each way.
I don’t know what all the fuss is about. I used Gridserve at a Moto Services on the way up near destination, had a poo, coffee and a bite to eat whilst it topped up to 90%. Had enough to go around Wakey and back down again a day later.
Meh. Doing Cornwall at least twice later this year, I’m sure it’ll be just as uneventful.
I'll happily switch to an EV when they match my own personal driving use.
