When did you last have a cold / Sniffle

Last night actually. Been in bed whole day today feeling like ****. Got work tonight as well huff.

This may need a poll,

After yet another successful day in the office discussing football the topic came to colds....

Everyone said they have not had a cold since pre-covid....conspiracy or just people are washing their hands more..... you decide.

Blatantly a conspiracy, obvs.

Who would ever think that wearing masks and distancing would stop the spread of colds over the last couple of years, it's a miracle.
Now we're back to our dirty ways they will come back.

I’ll say it as no one else has , 6 months before the Chinese flu broke out.

Make of it what you will but I’m waiting for a correlation between people dying of flu against people, dying of Covid between 2020 and 2022 ?

I've had a sore throat since last Friday but its not come to anything yet. I took a Covid test on Monday but it came back negative (never had it as far as I'm aware) Things haven't been helped as some clarty bitch walked towards me (i was queing) in Tesco last Friday and just coughed about 3ft away from me. Didn't sound like she covered her mouth either. People are just rank. No concerns for anyone but themselves. Prior to that, it would have been pre-covid since i last had a sniffle.

Had a very mild cold about a month ago - though struggled for 2 weeks after to get back to my normal energy levels. Before that didn't have one for 3 years - with COVID there was for the most part a complete absence of colds going around work, family and friends until earlier this year when they started going around again.

March this year. A manager asked a customer to leave after she I was coughing (into my elbow fold). The customer was shouting why I wasn’t wearing a mask? Bearing in mind, I was behind a screen and she had mask on incorrectly (mouth was below mask)

My sinuses were swollen and any mask hurt sinuses even more.

Did a LFT and was negative.

This cold lasted 4-5 days

Had colds and subsequent chest infections lasting 6 weeks before

Don't think I've had a cold in 4yrs at least, haven't had covid once either as I've had zero symptoms of that. Amazing I've dodged colds this long considering I work retail so I'm close up with plenty of people :)

Other than COVID a month ago, it’s been around 2 years. Wore a mask since the start of the pandemic, usually get a bad one every winter.

That's just the filthy 8year old hasn't picked one up either but she had the jab as well (kids will do anything for stickers)

Other half had a bad cold all last week and I've got it this week. Proper swollen head cold, not just a sniffle, it sucks.

Had COVID a few months ago.
