Ages...things have imprpved since covid and wfh. Used to get sick at least twice a year.

I normally get a cold once a year in November like clockwork, but November 2019 is now the last time for me. Like the OP suggests, it might be people being more careful now. I haven't caught covid either but I'm now the only person I know who haven't had it, so it will only be a better of time.

But as soon as had to get the train to work on a busy day I had cold the next day. I've been avoiding busy days, but work created a dumb situation that made a packed train my only option.

I've been out today in the Main Building to a ward and Xray, wore a mask but the amount of staff not wearing one was confusing me.
