I've just bought a Samsung 830 and will be using it as my primary boot drive.
After a little advice from folks on here I'm going to go for a clean Windows install rather than trying to mirror my existing drive (which was my original preference).
My question is, when and how do I update the Firmware on my drive in the installation process? Is doing so after Windows is installed ok or should I download the firmware to a CD in advance and update it the second the drive is plugged in?
Sorry if that's a dumb question. This is my first SSD so I'm a little unsure.
