Found a 160mm fan that runs off 240V:

Thats not really a good cfm though ? noisy, uses a lot of power so I might as well use my hoover really

Edit - It's not on the UK site yet. I emailed the UK site yesterday regarding the fan, but I've not heard back yet.

Main problem is getting blades over 120mm in diameter to turn at powerup at 12v. The torque required to overcome magnetic resistance at each pole generally results in larger blade formats getting stuck either on one pole or between poles...

Larger fans are common in 24v or 240v format... s'just 12v it gets a bit tricky.
