when you are typing and make a mistake

Depends how much of a error it is.

If its 1 letter then A, more than 1 letter B.

But on OCUK I just right click the word!

D- Use backspace, As I can type without looking at the keyboard, and when I read type them my hands usually know what im typing wrong if that makes any sense without me actually processing it rofl

I use iespell which flags up errors like Word does.
Right click then substitute the correct word.

Depends. Can be a combination. Mouse clicks and corrections to multiple words if reviewing a large body of text and correcting.

Arrow Keys with/without Ctrl if it's an error I have made and noticed as I have typed it or shortly after.

Sometimes will delete a word or 2 in-front of a mistake and just re-type as it works out faster anyway.

Some words I just right click on because I know the autocorrect list will have it in.

Leave it until I've finish writing what I want, then right-click and use the spell checker. If the desired word doesn't show up there then it clearly means that I have completely messed up and then I'll manually correct it!

Whilst in fast flow typing I generally use the backspace key but if its going to be more than a few characters I usually ctrl+z and undo what I've done.

Depends sometimes it is easier to delete the word and re-type it, sometimes easier to fix.

I use Ctrl-Arrows to navigate, Ctrl-Shift-Arrow to highlight then either type over or delete and re-type then press End to get back to where I was LIKE A BOSS.

Generally I'll see it as I do it. I touch type so unless I'm typing from copy, which I very rarely have to do these days (pretty much never) I'll see it and backspace to fix it.

If I'm typing from copy I can usually still tell when I've cocked it up so I'll either just backspace and fix it, or if I'm not sure I'll look at the screen.

I'm not even close to as good at typing as I was when I was doing layout for a living though. I was pretty rad then.
