When you plan to go to a match- where do you sit and what do you prefer.
Do you look for the cheaper tickets, the area/stand with the most atmosphere or would you pay top dollar for the half way line seats with best viewing.

Personally, as a Villa fan I like to sit in the Holte the best because you get a decent enough view with a good atmosphere too.

Everyone else?

I always go for the area with the most atmosphere. When I do rarely venture down to the Emirates this isn't applicable :p so I just grab what ever is available for what is considered a reasonable price at the Emirates.

I mainly go to away games so I have no choice and the atmosphere is always good.

Myself and my granddad use to have season ticket in the Gwladys Street end of Goodison Park, stopped really going when he passed on, I do go now and again but not as much as I use too... I have thought about getting season ticket again, but I dunno, doesn't feel the same without him

Stelly

Ah yeah away games are class- did Norwich away this season and it was like a party in the Villa end was class. Sorry to hear that Stelly- always wanted to do Everton away!

Back of the Kop, otherwise I'm not arsed, sat everywhere bar Centinary and the seats are god awful and make viewing the match a chore for anyone who is 6ft + and pillars on the mainstand block view half the time.

Atmosphere is rubbish everywhere bar back of the Kop unless a big game, then you can include the rest of the Kop and Anny Lower for some of the match.

Only done one away and Wembley, those and the big cup games I've been to are the best, league games pretty dire

You're*

I won't lie, I prefer the corporate hospitality, you're own 'legend' and a 3 course meal, free beer. Especially good if you get Norman Whiteside.

Smack bang in the middle of the Stretford End as well, next to Michael Carricks so you can get an eyeful of his bird at half time.

I've done the corporate hospitality at Old Trafford several times. It really is impressive. Didn't have a "legend" visit though, it was a few years ago mind. Lovely food and lush beer!

Shhh, but yes.

Seeing Bosnich save that pen against Tranmere in '94...never forget that image.

To quote on an earlier post, i don't mind the hospitality stuff, only if it's gratis though.

Only 17 so never got to see that- my dad said that was amazing and he was in the Tranmere end haha!

Up the villa. What you reckon score will be on sat?

My season ticket is about 10 rows in by the goal line. Gonna move next year though.

When I get to choose, for Cup games etc, I usually like to be near the away fans tbh.
