When your at the game!

Thought you might be after seeing East Sussex. And it's nice to see that someone knows what happened there before the Amex appeared! Living near Brighton and the amount of so called fans (who I know before Amex was built were also so called Man U/Liverpool fans is amazing! ) :D

Yeah, it is unavoidable unfortunately. We get 25,000 plus now, but for the last 15 years, we were playing in a 7000 seater athletics field with no facilities at all. Lots of people abandoned Brighton, or were unable to go during those years, but slowly, the lost generation is returning. Just looking at the number of fans we get now, and the catchment area, those years at Withdean really did a lot of damage!

My planning's already done.
My season ticket is exactly where I want it to be.
Great view, great atmosphere, great price :)

I always sit in the Trinity Road stand. Was £34 for a ticket last time I went and ended up with a seat right in the corner so I was squashed either side.

I usually go for blocks 92/133 not back (upper tier, one block either side of centre, West stand which overlooks the bench). However often I can't get there so I'll end up wherever but in general I much prefer being near the halfway line that behind a goal as it makes it much easier to see what is going on at the other end of the pitch. Likewise I've sat row 1 lower stand a couple of times when borrowing a season ticket and while the atmosphere is good I prefer the perspective you get from being a bit higher up.

I find the opposite tbh. I prefer behind the goal, or in the corner, so you can see the whole game without turning your head;)... Especially since I suffered a slipped disc, being in the corner would be a real help, in fact I have tried to move, but no luck yet.... Sitting there with my head turned the whole match makes my back ache a little atm.

2/3rds of the way up the halfway line, with the dug outs down to my immediate right and the terrace end to my left, with the away end farthest away on the right hand side. 12 rows from the front... which seeing as Griffin Park is so small, those 12 rows puts me closer to the back of the stand than the front!

Don't particularly like watching football from the ends of the ground, would rather watch it from the side, however most away ends are unfortunately at either end.

My season ticket is in the "Family Stand" at the Etihad. Pretty much directly opposite to where away fans sit. At the back of the first tier.

Got a lot of the same group of people sat around us now that have been around for the last 20 years. We all agreed when Maine road closed that we would get seats close by. We lost some of the group a few years back when they changed the area to the "Family Stand", but fortunately a lot had kids.

That's what matters to me the most, the sense of community we have between a group of people that have only been brought together because of a shared love of our team.
