25th of this month I fly to Las Vegas for 5 nights, then onto yesemite (sp?) for 3 nights then on again to san fransisco for the remainder of the fortnight! Looking forward to be very much indeed!

I am going on an immense train trip, having managed to get a fair amount of time of work. I will be travelling from london to Iran. It involves a mamouth 70 hour train ride across Turkey from istanbul to Tehran.

Three weeks in Orlando but I'll also be visiting Daytona, Cocao, St Augustine, Clearwater, Tampa, St Petersburg, Miami and the Florida Keys. I've also got a shuttle launch to watch if I so desire. Happy days as I'm off very, very soon.

Looking at a week on Islay touring the 7 distilleries (I'm a big fan of Islay malts) and generally wandering about looking at scenery through the day and drinking whisky in the Lochside hotel of an evening (a mate of mine recommended it - apparently they have an awesome stock of whiskies ).

I might stay back a week after I get off the rig later in the year (when it gets a bit cooler) and have a week in Sharm Al Sheikh if I can persuade big bro over.

We go to Florida once every couple of years, Dads company director has a Villa just outside of Kisseme that we can use, along with use of a car
