Where can I find an Elven Bow?

You know, like in lord of the rings.

Proper one, that curves back on it's self, like a handlebar tash.

Ninja-edit: I want it to be quite Orante, a bit of gold (or gold leaf) etc etc.
 
you should be in the PC Games section and the thread should involve the acronyms 'WOW', 'LOTR' or 'EQ'.

failing that, you will need to find Galadriel, The Lady of the Wood. She seems to give them out now and again.

A bow that curves back on itself? You mean a compound bow then! Anyway, Elves use longbows in general and you can't fire one of them from the back of a horse.

For serious archery you need a nice moden bow, or a traditional longbow if you are man enough to pull one (they can go to over 100lb draw)

If you want to ponce around look for LRP/LARP shops on the Internet or ask at your local roleplay store...
 
Make sure you specify you want it for horseback firing when you buy it, then you'll get the proper spec. Nothing ***** a horse off more than an arrow through the ear.

An arrow through the arse would upset the horse infront more. Firing a bow from horseback with any degree of accuracy is hard!

But being Samurai, he'd probably been at it his whole life :D

I am a good archer, on foot at least, with the modern bows, but it just doesn't seem authentic.

I have fired an old longbow, (taller than me, and I'm 6' 3"), and I really didn't have the chops for it lol.

I know horse bows a smaller, but I want an authentic (if elves can be), bow that looks like it's from the middle ages that I can get good with. A horse bow would only come after I aquire a horse :p

Actually, cavalry archers fire through about 270-300 degrees, depending on their accuracy at extreme twists.

Although, you are correct, since if ** shooting ** horse's arse, you *** be sitting on it backwards ;)

Or you're going tandam, with a rear gunner lol
 
Cavalry archers arent firing arrows through thwir own horses backsides though are they, therefore they aren't n00bs, n00b!

Quite how this thread has gone from Elven bows to horse S&M is a complete mystery to me. You're all just being silly now. *sigh*
