Where Did It All Go?

Not really surprising - it hasn't/hadn't rained for AGES in some areas in the south. Hence drought.

So parts of England are officially facing drought conditions and i am wondering why?

Haven't we just had one of the worst winters on record? Now I'm no expert but i know snow melts into water :o So where has all the water gone from the record snowfall?

When the snow melts it doesn't just funnel into a massive tank or resevoir. It melts into the ground/evaporates away. And by just had, you mean the one six or seven months ago.

Gray and rubbish here today. Either rain or be sunshine FFS!

I do have a question though... they say it's "the warmest spring since 1990". I wonder since 1990 how many houses have been built and how many reservoirs have been built?

Bloody hell in the west of Scotland we are having the traditional summer weather (rain :( )

And a not to long drive from here they are having bloody drought warnings, couldn’t make this stuff up

Where has the op been? A lot of the country has had the driest April and May for decades with rainfall been less then 20% of normal for some areas

This is normally the time the reservoirs fill up to try and last through summer. Crops are failing all over.

This is going to be a long hosepipe ban for some people.

:) no drout here in leicester just had one of the biggest hail storms i've seen in quite some time lol . They will still slap our area with a hose pipe ban in a couple of weeks, you know when it's summer when severn trent appear on local news complaining there's no water.
