Bracknell is nice at this time of year.
I’ve spent many a happy hour driving around Bracknell when it was a Three new feature and 3G handover performance test location. Not sure what there is to do apart from sitting in the one park with the other winos watching all signs of industry leave the town and the shopping centre decay?

Yup. You can sit quietly and see the town crumble before your eyes. It's quite enlightening.
The head office of the company I work for is in Bracknell, and funnily enough I used to get sent there years and year ago for another company I worked for for weeks at a time.
Ive stayed in most the hotels there, I slept with a random woman one weekend there also.
The bar underneath the Coppid Beech hotel used to put bands on on the weekend which was nice especially if you were staying in the hotel, 15 years ago used to be a good hotel, but its not been modernised since.
The town centre is just concrete jungle capitalist high street brands, they even got rid of the floating stone ball monument thing there used to be when you walked into town.
One of the most soleless places I have ever been too, growing up in north london I wouldnt say its particularly dodgy or anything like that, despite most nights the groups of kids smoking pot in those underpass walkway things.
I always describe Bracknell as like Milton Keynes without the history or sense of character.

Ha yeah I know ,spent most of my life in Yorkshire ,,rough with the smooth ,its like here ,spent the day in Polzeath but once went to Camborne by mistakeDon't get me wrong, it's a really nice area of the country. Just Keighley itself is a bit sad and down at heel.
