Where is your gaming PC located?

Used to be in the living room for many years, actually quite liked at as it seemed more 'social'.

Since working from home more though it made more sense to have a proper office/man cave so that's what I now have. Not sure I would go back :)

I got that abuse also. I have the blue switches on my keyboard too which are likely the loudest out there - I picked up the o'rings that OCUK sell and that helped a bit - it took the 'hammer' out of the key depresses and now it's more just the clicks that make the noise. I think the fact that she seen me sitting for 2 hours putting on the damn things to each individual key afforded me some grace in her eyes and she appreciated the effort I went to try and reduce the noise...
I have reds. Have considered getting o-rings but one of my mates said it didnt make much difference. Maybe ill have to give it a try. It is the slamming part that is the most noisy I guess.

It does make a little bit of difference - OCUK reckon they reduce the noise by 30%. Whether your Mrs will be able to tell the difference or not is another thing but maybe, like mine, she'll appreciate the effort of trying and cut you a bit of slack...
