Where to get a few things to build a sub box with?

Hi,

Where would I buy some carpet for a sub box? Not wanting to pay loads for it, saw 1.2m x 2m in Halfords, £25. :eek:

I must say I just went in there to buy a connector box for the custom sub box and the guy I got was really knowledgable which made a nice change.

Also does anyone know where one could get a sub grill? Looking for simple and good looking, nothing over the top.

as for carpet.. any carpet shop just look out for the cheap roll ends.. for the £25 at halfords ya can get enough to do ya sub box and probably ya back bedroom too

Seen one of them grills, really didn't like it I'm afraid. Does anyone know of any grills that look like the below image?

Go to any local (small) carpet shop and ask for some off cuts. You should get it for free.

I will try the carpet places round me. I get a feeling that will be much cheaper than a car audio place really.
