Where would you emigrate to?

Australia for me, though I've never been, the lifestyle looks great. Hoping to go out their on a working Visa next year.
Apart from family/friends, I don't think there's a huge amount I'd miss about the UK. Could be wrong though!

"Heard it's well nice" is all it would take for you to want to emigrate somewhere you can't even spell the name of? Sounds like you've really done your research there mate.

New Zealand or Canada. Got family in Canada hence that option.
So you've been there eh? Towards the end of my residence in Seattle we used to go up to Vancouver for a bit of a laugh every now and again. Hastings street was ok. We even had a local show us around, which was cool until he leaned into a corner of a storefront and took a long pull of a crack pipe

Yes it has fantastic scenery, I am with you there totally, but so does the UK! Not Europe, I mean just the UK. I am little bit tired of people who list 'the scenery' so high on there list of why they like NZ when the same views can be had across the UK, from your photo examples, you have a man on the beach, OK NZ has nice beaches and 100% so does England, and perhaps a pic of mt ruapehu? There are similar geological features here too!
The top of your list of reasons to go there should be: an awesome amount of cool jap imports on the roads and perhaps Moro bars - I miss both of those a large amount!
The UK does have fantastic scenery, but (even though I haven't been there, I like many others have seen films set there and photographs) the UK doesn't have the diversity that NZ has, of the extremes! They are both beautiful countries, but in different ways.
Speaking of diversity. Find your way into Scotland and then make your way along the following route: Jedburgh -> Edinburgh -> Stirling -> St. Andrews -> Dundee -> Perth -(via the A85 & A82)> Fort William -> Inverness -> Ullapool -> Durness.
Obviously you'd be gutted if it was cloudy and raining the entire time (and given this is Scotland we are talking about, there's a pretty high probability of encountering exactly that!), but you're guaranteed to see a fantastic array of scenery along the way.

I forgot to add before, I think people enjoy NZ scenery so much more becuase if your some brit who's just spent years of saving and planning to get to NZ. Once you are there you are going to go and do and see everything you can to make the most of it, and your not going to drive for 4 hours in a car to see some mountain and then not tell all your friends 'oh the scenery here is so great' You just wouldn't would you! So of course you're gonna say it's great (because of course it si really)
But at home in 'cold+dull rainy England' (stereotype++) you don't make those same sorta days out and efforts to see exciting bits of the country!
/drunk mode on here, but you get what I mean, not knocking anybody, but it's all relative! Look at that guys thread who tramped up (go the kiwi lingo there!) ...tramped up Snowdown over Easter, awesome pics to be had there!
