No it is not compatible with HDR.

Cool, now go untwist your panties. Before you go, re read my post, I didn't say anything about HDR?
+1
I'm now sat here thinking do I need this?
I only just bought a monitor a couple of months ago but thankfully I got one from the MM and didn't spend anywhere near what I was originally planning too, which makes not having HDR an easier pill to swallow. I think I'll give it a couple of years and hopefully by then we'll have 144hz 4k(ish) Ultrawides with HDR. But even then as you said they'll just come up with something else I didn't know I needed.
Well you're talking over semantics of your words now, dup's post said yay I have a 10 bit panel, so I have HDR.
You then replied saying yes, my IPS panel also has 10 bit, inferring you also have an HDR monitor.
I am not wearing my panties twisted, just trying to educate people on what they have/don't have that's all.
Then my reply to dup's post came over wrong, it was oozing sarcasm. In the sense of me stating my cheapy monitor has 10bit. Doesn't mean it's HDR. Instead of being either wrong or right in a subject I don't know enough about, I supplied a link to prove the 10bit statement was right. I was saying 'You tell me' about HDR as I was sure I hadn't. Maybe I should have said that in my first response.
Personally, HDR isn't something PC's will see for a while.
Where's them sarcasm tags when you need them.
Oh you'll see it on PC soon enough, but people will pay through the nose for it.
I am waiting for HDR before I buy a new monitor.
I want 4k, HDR and Gsync.
I need to save up for the PC to run it also.
1440p monitor with gsync and HDR would be nice.
it will be many years before 4k gaming on PC is possible for a reasonable price.
Not really. We are already getting reasonable gaming at least at the 60fps mark at 4k. This will change again over the next year with Vega & Volta etc.
Only the newest 4k TV's support HDR so I would expect monitors to implement it soon.
I'm pretty sure monitors need HDMI 2.1 support first before even considering any other specs.
Depends on the games, if your being really selective even my laptop with a GTX660 can handle some games at 4K, that doesn't mean 4K gaming is here though.
I have a GTX1080 and many games at 4K are a bit of a struggle, right now you need GTX1080 SLI.
Compatible with all HDR PS4 Game titles via HDMI and HDR videos of built-in Netflix app only. (See Sony support website for more information. ) HDR image signal specifically means HDR10 Media Profile format (commonly referred to as HDR10). Compatibility with all HDR content is not guaranteed
Dirt Rally
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Hitman
Battlefield 4
Crysis 3
Doom
GTA V
Witcher 3
Rainbow Six Seige
These are all games that either hit 60fps at stock or with a small OC at 4K from my experience. That is a reasonable selection of games I feel as well. Yes there are games that are worse and some of these only just reach the number but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
Now take the TXP and you will be fine for 4K gaming if you have the monies. With that taking into account the drop of Vega, DX12 and Volta I just don't see it being many years away.
AMD has already suggested that want a PC rig under $1k to be able to play games at 4K as their target this year.
