hmmm, i think we get a discount at dell through work... might have to explore that

The Alienware is here and I must say I am really impressed.

No bleed or glow that I can see and I sit in a darkened room

Its clocked up to 120Hz from the default 100hz with no problem with no noise or other issues.

Just going to try out G Sync with some games to give it a good workout.

Claims its an IPS, is it an IPS-Like AHVA panel?

Could you try rocket league if possible please mate. Seen lot of people moaning about 'hitching' which I assume is judder or some such

looks pretty amazing except the contrast is around TN levels than IPS levels

So IPS in the end and about right for contrast, VA would be at least 3000.

was a bit low on contrast compared to other IPS monitors. was actually pretty TN (lower) range
