Which 500GB Drive?

I'm thinking of picking up a new 500GB HD at the moment. I managed to snap off the SATA connector on my Hitachi 250GB when I was swapping my computer over into a new Antec P182 case, but somehow the drive still works since the connector got stuck in the SATA cable. I know it sounds stupid, but those SATA connectors are really, really flimsy :p

Anyway, I have a feeling that this dodgy setup is going to give up on me any minute now, so I need a new drive asap. Which 500GB drive would be the best to go for, in terms of both speed and quietness?

I was thinking of either the Samsung SpinPoint T, Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 or the Western Digital Caviar SE16 AAKS. I've seen some mixed reviews of the Seagate, so I'm leaning towards the WD.

I know the Samsung F1s are meant to be really good, but I don't really want to wait for the 500GB version to come out since my current drive will most likely be dead by then!
