Which 8800 Ultra ?

So a driver fix is fixing the aa issues. I thought it was a problem with the architecture and no one knew if a driver would sort it. Isn't it too early to tell ? Is the fan still noisy ? Where are the links to the latest almost gtx whooping reviews ?

Here you go, this is with its apparent AA problem that everyone says it has, now i think thats damn impressive if its beating the GTS and in some cases the GTX with AA enabled, even though the card has problems with doing AA as it takes a huge hit on performance when its enabled.

I can't wait till they fix it so it doesn't take that apparent huge hit.

Heres more food for thought, the GTS is only getting beat, and the GTX is only getting beat in some cases becuse Nvidia released some performance boosting drivers just as the 2900 was about to be launched, imagine how embarrasing that would have been for them if they didn't, the 2900 would have come out a helluva lot faster than the GTS, and probably would have been the GTX performance it was touted to be even with its buggered AA performance.

Imagine the reviews, 'oh dear this is embarrasing for Nvidia, the GTS is getting whooped, and the GTX is getting matched, and even beaten in some cases by the 2900 which has an AA problem', they would have been a laughing stock, no wonder they released those drivers eh, so once ATi fix the apparent AA problem its ta, ta to the GTS, and ta, ta to the GTX. :D
