Which Android app do you use to listen to music?

These days there isn't one. It wasn't great in the early days and I guess people havnt used it recently and are basing these comments on older versions.

i have all my music collection on google play (uploaded) why download it again.

it's just not very well designed for streaming yet. the more music you upload, the slower it becomes

If it's on my device I use Poweramp, fantastic Audio player.

However I nearly always stream now as I hate uploading new music when I can just stream it on my 5gb plan.

Spotify or Tune-in Radio for me. I tend to never use mp3's these days as the streaming options are far more convenient IMO.

I haven't subscribed as I tend to use the web app at home on my laptop and make do with shuffle play when out an about on my phone.

Spotify.

A few months ago I did some crappy course at work, which meant I was a student again, so I bought a 3 year NUS card.

Silly, but worth taking up. Can't argue with Spotify for a fiver per month.

Popweramp since it was a baby.
I like how I can get into the equaliser section and turn up the volume really loud but years ago there was no other player that could do that.
