Which Barracuda???

I need to buy a 1TB drive for storage and to run my games from (I have a 74GB raptor for my system disk but i don't install my games on it)

My question is what is the difference between the Barracida 7200.11 and the ES2? which is better.

I need to buy this week but is it also worth considering the samsung F1?

The Samsung will be quicker but there's still no sign of the 1Tb ones. There's very little difference between the 7200.11 and the ES2, they're based on the same platters etc so the speeds should be the same. The ES2 is the enterprise version so may have slightly different bearings etc.

Why not put games on the Raptor? It seems like the thing to do if you want quick transfer speeds.
