I need a external caddy to take 3.5" sata drives and plug into PC via USB 2.0 at the least, firewire or Esata be good but not needed, Any advice on brads to go for? Never brought one before.

Cheers

I use the IcyDock linked above. It's a nice piece of kit and comes with a PCI bracket to route an internal SATA port outside so there's no need for a pre-existing eSATA port. Only problem I had was it shipped with an EU power cord, nothing that a quick webnote to OCUK couldn't fix but a bit of a pain if you have to wait another few days for a power cord.

I dont like the look of the Icy Dock so probally go AKASA unless any other ones that ayone wants to advise as good??

go for an icybox 390, they're £19.99, have usb2 and esata and you don't need to 'switch' it around internally to use the other connector..

awesome box
