Which Camera

Another thing, maybe post some links to a photographers pictures you like. Then people here will know what your trying to achieve. i.e. maybe you only want to do landscapes etc. then the recommendations would change again etc.

I like this guys photography.

Why’s the G9 no good when it seems to get decent reviews online and in the camera shop I visited they said it good.
Small sensor, old contrast detect autofocus. Basically means more noise and a hard time focusing moving things and vlogging. Unless your using VERY fast primes, pictures look like a relatively modern iphone.

Fair enough I’ve ordered one based on the advice of the staff in two camera shops. They do seem to be popular.

Cool, when you get it, go shoot and post your pictures. Many years ago I got my first camera. Posted pictures here, folks told me how to do it better. I kept posting and folks were nice enough to keep critiquing. Eventually I did it for a living, before then moving to the US, where I'm probably going to also do it for a living after having a pretty long sabbatical.

Sometimes a small choice can create big change.

The G9 with the screen on top.
I've got one (along with an S5/S5II and an S9!) and it's a lovely camera but you might find some issues.

It's big camera, great for long lenses but not very handheld vlog style friendly.
AF in video is weak and has pulsing at times.
Low light video performance is behind the full frame cameras, but fast glass is cheap.

On a plus micro four thirds lenses are cheap and there's a huge choice.

can you tell me what weight between vlogging / Photography you plan to do?

And what phone do you have? because I can't image why you can't vlog with your phone, if youc an do that then we acn stop looking at these action cams.

I’m looking to do more photography than vlogging. I’ve an iPhone 12 Pro Max.

I think the 12 is plenty good enough.. just need something like a DJI mic mini if you want the extra production value.

Regarding full frame Vs M43. If your doing photography like the video you posted it'l be just fine, and the ibis is supposed to be very good.
The main places your going to notice a difference, is if you want background separation (background blur) for portraits etc. as well as being able to take pictures in lower light without movement blur due to ISO limits.
