and my speakers are playing up, im going to get a 2.1 system

May I recommend the Philips MMS430 speakers, I got mine for £40 inc. delivery and they are brilliant. If you have a little more to spend then the Aego Ms are hard to beat for < £100

I think my 250Gb hard disk is playing up. Sometimes I've been hearing the good old clicking sound during heavy disk access. Rest of the system should keep me going until Vista/WinXP SP3. :)

My Dell Dimensions XPS T450 (PIII, 450mhz) and everything attached to it has been annoying me for the last few years!

If I post another half a million threads on this site I'll be able to enter the Members Market and buy an up-grade!

I'd be happy to up-grade but couldn't build it myself, the wife's nerves are shattered already.

My "fanless" (Antec) power supply - it is OK as a power supply BUT acts like a radiator - had to put more fans in to keep case cool - somewhat defeats the object - saw the same warning in PCW mag this month about fanless power supplies. Keep to a fanned one is my advice now (too late for me!)

I keep telling people this and recomending they get a seasonic as they are almost as silent as a passive one and don't cause problems by heating up the case. The last person i said this to insisted i was talking rubbish...

DFI LanParty Sli-DR - Rushed, unstable PoS.

The LGA775 version better be good or thats it with me giving them money.
From what i've heard Dfi aren't as good with intel boards...

My mx500 mouse, logitech dont seem to have any drivers for it on there site, and the mx510's wont install on vista.

Gonna grab 1 of those little copperheads me thinks :)

i had SLI-DR expert for about two weeks then sent it back cause it was just rubbish, got replacement sent out and that had the exact same issues, so got refund and bought ASUS board, everyone gave the DFI such good hype, the ASUS is hundred times better, i meant it actually works

To be fair, neither of my asus boards worked when i bought them, i've never had as many problems in my life. Thankfully when they got round to writing a working bios they are fine.
