Which computer legacy bits do you still hang on to?

Just wondered which peripherals, other longer term computer users have that they still use today after years of use?

Although I have an up to date professional quality image printer, I still use daily, my old Epson Stylus 800 printer ( circa 1997/8) for printing anything text as it still does a fast, very neat job and it's ultra cheap to run ( unlike my photo-printer).

My other piece of equipment is my Creative Labs 5.1 speaker system ( circa 2002)...still excellent and I see no need to change!

So which legacy bits do you still hang on to and use regularly?

Think my Logitech MX510 is my oldest part. Best mouse ever.

but yea, nothing legacy. Got a 56k modem somewhere but not used it since march 2003 when DSL was enabled in my area.

I have a zip100 drive. Although none of my PC's have a parallel port anymore! Just got rid of my last one! Thats about it!

Think I have a USB to Serial/parallel port somewhere though.

I'll be scrapping my PC soon (it's had it). Only going to be keeping the keyboard, PSU, speakers, case and fans. Everything else is going in the skip.

It might be different when I upgrade again though.

I have my old IBM keyboard, it is amazing, thankfully it is black so blends in OK.

The PS2 connector is becoming a pain now though, but that is the best keyboard I have ever had, I bought it in the heady days of the pentium 200's etc.

HP 4L Printer from 1995. Just started to have gripping problems with the feed paper, tried but failed fixing so skip time.

I have a 6L that doesn't grip, I just manually feed it 1 sheet at a time. Print quality is superb and I don't often print large documents, and i'm too tight to replace it:p

I've had my intellimouse explorer 3.0 for probably 5 years now...need replacing, it decides to double click itself everynow and then when i only single click...shall be missed though as its an awesome mouse

Those that can't be passed on go to the recycling centre. They probably get recycled straight into landfill.

Or flogged on the bay. Every time I've dropped old kit off at the local recycle center the guys there descend on it like flies to a dog turd, fair enough if they can reuse it somewhere.

Don't have any legacy bits anymore, the wife chucked out my box of spares. I do still have a Mac Classic II and an Atari 520 STE in the loft, one day...
