Which computer legacy bits do you still hang on to?

Just had to buy two USB to 9-pin serial cables to hook up my netbook to the robots and PIC controller at uni. I guess that counts.

Also still using Creative® Inspire™ 5.1 Digital 5500, with a HDA X-Mystique DDL card.

Also still using my record of achievement folder as a mousemat, after about 7 years :D.

Still using the RadioRentals mousemat we got with our first ever PC.

Not sure how old it is...probably 15 years or so? Still in excellent condition. The PC in question was a Pentium 75 with an 800MB hard drive and was almost top of the range, that might give an idea of the date :D

I've got a circa 1999 Taxan 15" tft monitor still serving as the secondary monitor on my main PC. Rescued from a BT scrap pile 3 years ago.

Cambridge Soundworks 2.1 Speaker set up, purchased in 2002 and used every day. The 3.5mm jack socket/connector is getting a little temperamental occasionally and I fear at some point it will have to replaced. :(

I'm still holding on to a 11 year old Indigo iMac for some reason :o as well as my EPL 5100 laser printer, even though it wouldn't run on Vista, let alone Windows 7.

Virtually all of my old hardware, apart from the stuff I've broken has ended up on eBay, or flogged on to mates. I did have to take a 17" CRT to the tip though, as they can't be got rid of for love nor money. Didn't feel right to be honest.

CoolerMaster 210 Azure :D
Still the case on my main home machine, although its usage is fairly light nowerdays. Its still just a sturdy as the day I bought it.. Must be over 10 years ago now?

Ooh nice. I do like a bit of old skool ATCS action. :D

I have an Apricot MS540 bought probably 95 ish, still works, got the speakers and everything from it, i think its has a 133mhz processor, 8meg of ram 1.2gig HDD (which i vividly remember the place we got it from saying we'd never fill it)

I've just recently replaced my 11 year old speakers, they did well.

I have and am using the 80gb hard drive from my original Xbox as my system drive when the raptor died and my creative 7.1 wired speaker system I got for 58 quid back in 2003 (in my opinion the sound that comes from it is superior to any THX certified wireless setup)

And myself, of course :D

lol im using those cambridge soundworks speakers mine are black and about the same age. Sound great a lot better than many replacements i've bought and had swap back to these.

They now get used in the living room on my Onkyo amp :)

Green... err brown allsop mouse mat, complete with the first intelimouse still in daily use.

No skin disease suprisingly, or any other proper medical disorder:)

And the 13 year old labtecs still perch on the desk, 200 quid at the time well spent.

LOL If you go into my storage lockup you will find all sorts. I have a pioneer slot loader dvd, they were really popular back in the day. Teac roms and cd re-writers... one in a box with a price tag of at least £178ish which makes me wince everytime I see it lol.

I have a lot of old socket A stuff still floating about and to top it all off I have atari st and commodore amiga's, spectrums, c64 stuff etc. I hoard way too much

EDIT: Just realised the oldest bit of kit I own is a pair of Typhoon pc speakers from around 1997. The got a bit manky at one point so I cleaned them up, re-capped and re-soldered everything inside and cleaned all the volume pots with switch cleaner. They still pump out a nice fat sound which puts some of the trash I bought in the past to shame :D
