Which computer legacy bits do you still hang on to?

I still have the very first keyboard i ever bought!! It still works and sometimes i do use it now and again!! It has an adapter on it to link it from ps2 to the old Keyboard port connector!!!!

A 5¼-incher?

I have one in my drawer, but up until recently I had one in my pc - but when my motherboard died (:() the new one didn't have a FDD connector - so had to chuck it out! It was rather a sad day - well, maybe sad is too strong an emotion... it was the end of an era! :p

zip drive
a working 286 till i moved house and gf managed to lose it
few dot matrix printers
old laptops etc
1st gen imac

CoolerMaster 210 Azure :D
Still the case on my main home machine, although its usage is fairly light nowerdays. Its still just a sturdy as the day I bought it.. Must be over 10 years ago now?

I've got various old bits, although not too much as it tends to end up being passed on to family and friends.

Currently it includes an original Geforce card (I think it's an original GF, although it might be a GF2), some 72pin Edo ram that's been living in my spares box since before I retired the P166, a couple of RealMagic Hollywood+ DVD decoder cards (complete with pass-through cables), although they're now in my bedroom bin in their AS bags waiting for it to be emptied :)
2x Athlon thunderbird systems (I think one needs a new psu and hdd), an amd XP2400+ (I think it is) based system, a P700 system, and at least 2 additional cases cluttering up the place.
A few old Duron/Thunderbird processors (I think they range from a D650 to a Tbird Axia 1000).
An Asus P4P 800 motherboard (P4) i think.
Erm I think that's more than I had thought...

About the only bits out of that lot I want to keep are a couple of the cases (Globalwin 802's), and the 2400 as a spare system.

I may offer some of the bits in the MM for collection at some point in the near future, as I really need the space, but it's not really worth me sending the stuff through the post

If PC speakers count then my Yamaha YST-M20DSP speakers - only two of them left and right. Bought them in the late 90's, lovely sound from them. Have a built in Digital Sound Processor which you can turn on and off.

I've got:

32mb of EDO floating around - Nowt to put it in,
1Ghz AMD AXIUM CPU - Got that baby up to 1.82Ghz on Air, before it got unstable!!
Zip100 USB - and about 40 odd Zip Discs

Thats about it!!.. :)

A working Microsoft Sidewinder 3d Pro Joystick. Best 'stick ever!

Shame systems don't have game ports any more :( I will have too look into the DIY adaptor kit to get it working via USB.

Got a 286 system in the attic was our first home computer. But the main system I cannot throw out and am in the process of rebuilding into my original lian li pc 60 is the following specs:

2 x 333mhz P2
512mb SDRAM
2 x 18.9gb SCSI drives
External Zip
Voodoo 3 3500 with tv tuner

Don't think I will ever throw this system out :)

I still have my THX-certified Altec Lansing ADA-885 speaker system. Sound is superb - no point in changing it.

Also still using my HDA X-Mystique DDL soundcard.

And going even further back, my original boxed ZX81 and Spectrum is up in the loft somewhere ;)

Lot of Voodoo 3 retention around, I see.

Does my memory fail me or wasn't everything after the wonderful VoodooII a pile of poo?
