Which console?

I'd take the PS3 every time. It's just better in every way for me. Personally I much prefer the games on PS3, it's exclusives are much better than the 360's offerings. Plus I don't get on well with the 360 controller where as I love the PS3 one. Plus the usual, free online gaming, built in wi-fi, quieter, better built, etc, etc.

I agree with all those points but 90% of the time the cross platform games are noticeability better on the 360, which makes it harder.

It really is best to have both if possible.

for the money, has to be PS3.

PS3 has wireless built in, but mine is hard wired as the wireless is carp, 360 wireless is an expensive add on, but works way way better than my Sony/PS3 wireless and i don't have to wait an age when downloading stuff off LIVE, can't say the same about PSN.

at £27 a year, LIVE is not cheap and is rather bliddy expensive if you have family members who want to game on a user name of there own. free on PS3, no mater how many users.

both have great exclusives, but if the fankids are to be believed, PS3's look way better.

the little things...
joypads are much of muchness. but for me the 360 easily has the best pad around with no awkward/missing trigger controls and it just feels wrong having to use L1/R1 to shoot in Uncharted 2 and i keep throwing grenades because my finger touches L2 in the heat of battle. and yes, i do have those little trigger covers fitted to my PS3, but not a lot of use if the game wont let you set the controls to use them.

updates are a pain on PS3, most of my games have needed an update (and boy do they take a time to download) before playing and why do i have to click on licensing agreements before i play some games. with 360 it might say an update is available, but seconds later your good to go.

while i prefer Achievements over Trophies, they are growing on me.

upgrade your HD on PS3 at low cost, 360 on the other hand has way overpriced small size HD's in comparison.

you get to try demos of all games off Arcade before you buy, not so on PSN.

Definitely ps3 without a shadow of a doubt and I own a 360.
Only reason I didn't get a ps3 was because I couldn't afford one at the time.

Free online
Recharging controllers without need to buy something
Better and more exclusive games
Built in wireless
Ability to put virtually any lap top hard drive in rather than pay joke microsoft prices for their hard drives
Most xbox 360 games appear and are better on pc

I'd say go for the 360, the controllers are bettar than the PS3's and online is more active. on PSN i barely get into games with more than 2 people speaking. Also downloading from PSN can be slow.

PS3 Gaming online for free is a bonus - until you play games such as Grid and realise there are many, many retarded idiots out to ruin your fun.

I personally don't mind paying £25-£30 for XBL Membership if it means a better quality of online gaming, the community seems much better than that on PSN.

I've just made the switch from PS3 to 360 and i don't regret it at all, infact i much prefer pretty much every aspect of the 360, it just seems to do it "better".

Get an Elite, also remember that the Elite's don't come with HD cables any more so remember to grab a HDMI/Component cable when you pick it up.

Thanks for that, would have thought HDMI cable would be included now as HD Tv's are commonplace.

Also did you manage to play PGR4 before you sold your system ?, fantastic racer and very cheap now so grab that if as well if you haven't played it.

Not played PGR4 but did have PGR3, is it much different?

Think its going to be a 360 Elite for me :)

Only advantage PS3 really has for me is rechargeable joypads & free online but Xbox live isn't as expensive as I thought so not really an issue.

Same here. Nothing wrong with the Xbox 360 and if enough non-PC exclusives came out that I wanted I would get one as well, but over all I would say PS3 :)
